After visiting numerous museums in South and Central Florida I finally found a real fort. Yes it's a replica, but concidering the fact that original fort was used by US Army for only a year, I don't mind.
Every year around christmas the have venders come from different states to sell items, the food is great. I love it ...:)
Great place for a jaunt into Florida's history. Rebuilt forts and old homes but also playground andrew basketball court. Many local festivals held here too.
A free historical area. This is a great place to have a picnic or spend a nice afternoon. The fort is really small (not like a typical civil war fort you’d see in St. Augustine or Fort Pickins), but they have other smaller houses with historical stuff too. Bring sunscreen, bug spray, and lunch for a great trip.

Stopped here to waste some time. Very interesting. Small houses set up in different era's. Had fun seeing all the history and reminiscing on some of the things from our past.
